It is non-negotiable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the overarching theme <strong>\u201cEducate for Impact: The New Non-Negotiable,\u201d<\/strong> the summit reinforced FIIB\u2019s commitment to <strong>responsible management education, sustainability integration, ethical leadership, and social impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Educate for Impact: Redefining the Purpose of Management Education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In today\u2019s rapidly evolving global landscape, business education cannot remain limited to technical competence and managerial efficiency. Organisations operate under heightened <strong>ESG scrutiny, sustainability mandates, and ethical accountability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The summit emphasized that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Business schools must move beyond fragmented ethics modules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsibility must be embedded into <strong>curriculum design, pedagogy, research, and institutional culture<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education must prepare leaders not just for markets, but for society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Anchored in the <strong>Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME)<\/strong> values, the conversations called for cultivating leaders who balance <strong>profit with purpose, performance with accountability, and growth with long-term societal value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leadership in Responsibility Awards: Recognising Impact Across Sectors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A key highlight of the summit was the <strong>Leadership in Responsibility Awards<\/strong>, honouring distinguished leaders who exemplify impact-driven leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfc5 <strong>Shri S. Learning Must Precede Earning<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The panel challenged the dominant \u201cearning vs learning\u201d mindset, urging business schools to measure success beyond salary packages \u2014 focusing instead on <strong>learning depth and character formation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Ethical Intent and Behavioural Legitimacy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Ethical leadership requires the courage to do the right thing <strong>when no one is watching<\/strong>.<br>Participants emphasised embedding behavioural insights and emotional intelligence into management education to normalise responsible decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Long-Term Value over Short-Term Returns<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Short-term performance metrics often overshadow long-term resilience and stakeholder trust. The panel underscored the need to recalibrate management education toward <strong>durability, accountability, and intergenerational value creation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Culture Begins Within<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Internal alignment between institutional values and practices strengthens credibility.
