One site says a college is AACSB-accredited, another says it is not. One quotes an average package, another a highest package, and neither says which batch. This post puts the numbers side by side, shows where the sources disagree, and tells you what we could not confirm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We compare six names that come up most often in Delhi NCR shortlists: FIIB, FORE School of Management, LBSIM, IMI Delhi, BIMTECH and IMT Ghaziabad. If you are weighing the top PGDM colleges Delhi NCR has to offer, the table below is the quickest place to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-we-compared-these-pgdm-colleges\"><strong>How we compared these PGDM colleges<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We used each college&#8217;s own pages first, then well-known aggregators when the college page was unavailable. Every row of the table carries a source line. Where two sources disagreed, we show both or say which we preferred and why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three rules shaped the comparison:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Same measure, same batch. A highest package is one offer. An average for the top 20 percent of a batch is not a batch average. We label which is which.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut-offs are indicative. No college in this group publishes an official CAT cut-off, so the figures are from third-party reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fees are as of the 2026-28 cycle. FIIB&#8217;s Rs 13.5 lakh is the lowest in the table and is described as the total programme fee for the 2026-28 batch. IMI Delhi&#8217;s Rs 23.54 lakh is the academic fee only, so hostel and mess are extra. BIMTECH&#8217;s Rs 19.52 lakh is higher than its Rs 14 lakh tuition because it adds hostel, mess, insurance and deposits. That makes BIMTECH&#8217;s tuition the second lowest, not the middle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources also disagree. FORE shows Rs 23.24 lakh on fsm.ac.in for self-sponsored students but Rs 20.77 lakh on Careers360. IMT Ghaziabad&#8217;s own fee table adds up to about Rs 23.5 lakh against a stated Rs 23 lakh. When you see a fee on a ranking site, treat it as a pointer and confirm it on the college&#8217;s fee page or admission brochure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are searching for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiib.edu.in\/\"> best PGDM colleges Delhi<\/a> fees and placements pages describe, ask each college three questions: what is the total, what is included, and what is the payment schedule?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pgdm-placements-in-delhi-ncr-highest-package-is-not-the-story\"><strong>PGDM placements in Delhi NCR: highest package is not the story<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Placement headlines favour the highest package. IMI Delhi&#8217;s report shows Rs 40.31 LPA, but that is the highest in its PGDM (B&amp;FS) programme; the core PGDM&#8217;s highest is Rs 27.25 LPA. IMT Ghaziabad&#8217;s site lists Rs 35 LPA domestic and Rs 46.17 LPA international. FORE&#8217;s report shows Rs 26.45 LPA. Those are single offers. They tell you what the best-placed student received, not what you should expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Averages are more useful, but only when measured the same way. LBSIM&#8217;s official report gives Rs 12.32 LPA as the average across the entire 2024-26 batch, with Rs 16.13 LPA for the top 10 percent and Rs 14.19 LPA for the top 25 percent. That is the kind of breakdown to look for. FIIB&#8217;s Rs 14 LPA is the average for the top 20 percent of its Class of 2026, so it should be set beside LBSIM&#8217;s top 25 percent figure of Rs 14.19 LPA, not beside a batch average. FIIB also reports a median of Rs 9.5 LPA, a highest package of Rs 24 LPA, and a 95 percent placement rate with 500 plus corporate partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few more things to check before trusting any figure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Batch year. FORE&#8217;s and LBSIM&#8217;s figures are from the 2024-26 batch, IMI&#8217;s from 2023-25, and IMT&#8217;s page does not say which batch its figures cover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Placement rate. LBSIM&#8217;s report says further recruitments are underway and gives no rate. FIIB reports 95 percent for the Class of 2026. Ask every college for its final figure and its definition of placed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sector split. LBSIM says BFSI, IT and consulting were major recruiters. FORE&#8217;s report counts 45 recruiters in consumer, manufacturing and logistics, 29 in BFSI, 30 in IT and 38 in marketing, consulting, retail and media. IMI&#8217;s report lists BFSI as its top-paying sector at Rs 19.61 LPA average CTC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Median. FORE&#8217;s median is Rs 16.20 LPA, IMI&#8217;s is Rs 16.60 LPA, IMT&#8217;s is Rs 16.50 LPA and FIIB&#8217;s is Rs 9.5 LPA. LBSIM does not report a median.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mba-colleges-in-delhi-accepting-cat-cut-offs-and-exams\"><strong>MBA colleges in Delhi accepting CAT: cut-offs and exams<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every college in this comparison accepts CAT, and most also accept XAT, GMAT and others. None publishes an official minimum CAT percentile that guarantees a call. What circulates are indicative figures from past shortlisting: about 88 to 90 for IMI Delhi, 90 to 95 for IMT Ghaziabad, 85 or higher for FORE, 80 to 85 for LBSIM PGDM General (75 to 80 for PGDM FM) and 75 to 80 for BIMTECH. FIIB&#8217;s requirement is 60 percentile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These numbers are not like-for-like. FIIB&#8217;s 60 looks like minimum eligibility. BIMTECH&#8217;s 75 to 80 and the IMI, IMT and FORE figures are what shortlisted candidates typically scored. A candidate at 80 percentile might clear the first bar at several colleges and be nowhere near the second. Colleges also weigh the rest of your profile. FORE&#8217;s selection weights, as listed by Careers360, give 35 percent to the entrance score, 20 percent to the personal interview and 20 percent to past academics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FIIB<\/strong>: cut-off of 60 percentile from Careers360&#8217;s FIIB admissions page (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers360.com\/mba\/articles\/fiib-new-delhi-pgdm-fpm-admissions-2026-are-open-now\">https:\/\/www.careers360.com\/mba\/articles\/fiib-new-delhi-pgdm-fpm-admissions-2026-are-open-now<\/a>), which lists &#8220;CAT\/ XAT\/ GMAT\/ CMAT\/ MAT\/ ATMA (\u226560 percentile)&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FORE<\/strong>: cut-off of 85 or higher from Careers360 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers360.com\/mba\/articles\/fore-school-of-management-cat-cutoff\">https:\/\/www.careers360.com\/mba\/articles\/fore-school-of-management-cat-cutoff<\/a>), expected for 2025 and not official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LBSIM<\/strong>: cut-off of 80 to 85 (PGDM General) and 75 to 80 (PGDM FM) from CollegeDekho (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegedekho.com\/colleges\/lal-bahadur-shastri-institute-of-management\/lbsim-delhi-cat-cutoff-article-86536\">https:\/\/www.collegedekho.com\/colleges\/lal-bahadur-shastri-institute-of-management\/lbsim-delhi-cat-cutoff-article-86536<\/a>), expected for CAT 2026 and not official because LBSIM has not announced a cut-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IMI Delhi<\/strong>: cut-off of 88 to 90 from Careers360 (<a href=\"https:\/\/bschool.careers360.com\/articles\/imi-cat-cutoff\">https:\/\/bschool.careers360.com\/articles\/imi-cat-cutoff<\/a>), which gives &#8220;around the 88-90 percentile&#8221;, expected and not official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BIMTECH<\/strong>: cut-off of 75 to 80 from Careers360 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers360.com\/mba\/articles\/bimtech-cat-cutoff\">https:\/\/www.careers360.com\/mba\/articles\/bimtech-cat-cutoff<\/a>), an expected shortlisting cut-off for the extempore and interview rounds, not official; NBA, AIU and AACSB from bimtech.ac.in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IMT Ghaziabad<\/strong>: cut-off of 90 to 95 from Cracku (<a href=\"https:\/\/cracku.in\/imt-ghaziabad-cut-off-2026\">https:\/\/cracku.in\/imt-ghaziabad-cut-off-2026<\/a>), expected for General PGDM and not official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are looking for MBA colleges Delhi accepting CAT, check the exam calendar first. CAT 2026 is on 29 November 2026, and registration closed on 22 September 2026. The official source for CAT is the IIMs&#8217; site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official CAT website: <a href=\"https:\/\/iimcat.ac.in\">https:\/\/iimcat.ac.in<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If CAT did not go as planned, XAT and CMAT are the usual alternatives. XAT 2027 is on 3 January 2027, and CMAT 2027 is on 7 February 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official XAT website: <a href=\"https:\/\/xatonline.in\">https:\/\/xatonline.in<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official CMAT website: <a href=\"https:\/\/cmat.nta.nic.in\">https:\/\/cmat.nta.nic.in<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For MAT, check the exam body&#8217;s official page for current dates and registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-aacsb-accreditation-what-it-means-and-who-has-it\"><strong>AACSB accreditation: what it means and who has it<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AACSB is an international accreditor for business schools. A press release carried by The Tribune on 30 April 2026 says it covers about 6 percent of business schools worldwide and about 30 of India&#8217;s more than 5,000. It reviews faculty research and requires a continuous improvement review every six years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the six colleges here, the picture is mixed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FIIB, IMI Delhi, BIMTECH and IMT Ghaziabad are AACSB-accredited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LBSIM announced AACSB accreditation in April 2026 through a press release. It also holds NBA accreditation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FORE&#8217;s own accreditation page lists NBA, SAQS and AIU equivalence. It does not mention AACSB. Its NBA listing for PGDM (FM) was shown only to 30 June 2026, so check the current status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A caution on lists. Some aggregators tag a very long list of Delhi NCR colleges as AACSB. We did not use those tags as proof. The college&#8217;s own page or AACSB&#8217;s own directory is the reliable check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Sources: The Tribune (press release, advertorial disclaimer, 30 April 2026); fsm.ac.in\/recognitions-accreditations; bimtech.ac.in; Collegedunia and CollegeDekho for third-party AACSB tags.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-return-on-investment-a-simple-check\"><strong>Return on investment: a simple check<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ROI cannot be computed honestly from brochure data, but a first check is available. FORE ratio uses the higher fee; at Rs 20.77 lakh it is about 1.2. FIIB ratio uses its median because no whole-batch average is published; a median is usually below an average, so FIIB&#8217;s ratio is likely overstated.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read this carefully. The range is narrow, from about 1.1 to 1.4, so these colleges look similar on this crude measure, and the inputs are not like-for-like: FIIB&#8217;s figure is a median because no batch average is published, BIMTECH&#8217;s fee includes hostel, and the averages come from different years. What the check does show is that a lower fee does not by itself mean a better return, and a higher fee does not either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-where-each-college-stands-out\"><strong>Where each college stands out<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across the PGDM colleges in Delhi NCR we looked at, no single college leads on every measure, which is why the shortlist should follow your own priorities. Read each profile below with that in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FIIB: the lowest reported fee in the group, a dedicated PGDM-FM programme for students aiming at finance, and applied learning through ActionWorks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FIIB PGDM program: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiib.edu.in\/program-pgdm\">https:\/\/www.fiib.edu.in\/program-pgdm<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PGDM-FM curriculum and career paths:<a href=\" https:\/\/www.fiib.edu.in\/program-pgdm\/curriculum-and-career-paths-fm\"> https:\/\/www.fiib.edu.in\/program-pgdm\/curriculum-and-career-paths-fm<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FORE: a long institutional record, a Rs 16.53 LPA whole-batch average and a Rs 16.20 LPA median, and a 720-student batch with 142 recruiting companies. The fee is at the upper end and the AACSB question is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LBSIM: the most transparent placement report in the set, with tiered averages, a deep elective menu and AACSB accreditation from 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMI Delhi: strong packages, with a Rs 17.91 LPA average and Rs 16.60 LPA median in its 2023-25 report and a high expected CAT range, but the highest fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BIMTECH: the lowest indicative CAT figure in the group and a campus in Greater Noida, which suits students who accept a longer commute from central Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMT Ghaziabad: a high expected CAT range and a Rs 17.64 LPA average on its site, with fee figures that need confirming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jaipuria Noida and SOIL Manesar also appear on many shortlists.
