Profile
Prof. Arun Sangwan has a work experience of 14 years in the corporate sector, and 9 years in the field of Management education.
He is the Area Coordinator for Strategy and Entrepreneurship Area at FIIB. As a Faculty, he conducts courses of Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation, Business from Legal, Ethical and CSR perspective, and Business to Business Marketing.
He leads the Experiential Learning programmes as Corporate Internship Programme, Social Internship Programme, Global Immersion Programme, and Guided Independent Study programme. Previously, he conducted the FIIB Leadership Program (FLP).
He is invited for discussions and debates on CNBC TV18, and ET Now on issues of corporate strategy, and governance, and specifically concerning the Tata Group that is the largest business conglomerate in India.
In the corporate, his last assignment was as the Country Manager – India and SAARC for Sanrad, a company of the Israeli technology group, RAD. Prior to this, he was a Business Manager - Marketing at Hewlett-Packard (India). In this role, he was responsible for managing the largest alliance for HP India namely, TCS. He has served Silicon Graphics Inc., Tata Unisys Ltd., and HCL Hewlett-Packard Limited.
His corporate tenure gave him an extensive experience of Strategy formulation and execution, B2B Marketing, Strategic Account Management (SAM), and leading SAM teams.
He has been an advisor to startups as zamroo.com and Prowisdom, and to firms in financial markets as Markettoper Securities, and Market Khiladi. In financial markets, his expertise lies in development of algorithm based trading strategies, and trading using Technical Analysis.
Before FIIB, he was with the School of Business, Alliance University, Bangalore.

  • He has written articles on Entrepreneurship for international business titles such as Entrepreneur (South Africa), and Ventures Africa.
  • He finds mention as an ‘Inner Circle’ member in Ed McLaughlin’s (founder of USI Companies, US, a Fortune 500 company) book on entrepreneurship and startups – The Purpose Is Profit.
  • He was a reviewer for McGraw Hill book on Corporate Strategy and Business Policy
