Manpreet Kaur Uppal

Manpreet Uppal is a university medal awardee in Hons. in Economics from

Punjabi University, Patiala, followed by a Masters Degree in Marketing. She has cleared her UGC- NET examination for lectureship and is currently pursuing her Doctoral research with Aligarh Muslim University on understanding Customer relationship resources & trying to establish their relationship with the Omni-channel retailer in the Indian retail scenario.

Her work experience spans over two decades, with eighteen years in academia and two years in the industry. Her academic interface includes engagement in pivotal rolesand involvement in academic delivery, developing course curricula, redesigning & revamping the redundant with a view to escalate the student employability quotient.
Before joining FIIB, she engaged with Ansal University, Gurgaon, JK Business School, Gurgaon, KR Mangalam University, IIPM New Delhi, GSBA Greater Noida, and Amity University.
Two years’ exciting corporate career involved being a founder member and heading the contents at an education portal, CollegeDekho.com.
Her teaching and research areas are Managerial and Global Economics, Business Ethics and CSR, Consumer Behaviour, Retail Marketing, Brand Management, Services Marketing & Customer Relationship Management.


She has 18 years of teaching experience at the Post Graduate Management level.

Research Work

She has submitted her Doctoral thesis onCRM resources & their relationship with the Omni-channel retailer strategy performance at Aligarh Muslim University in November 2020.
She is currently working on a Review Based paper on the Evolution of Omni Channel in e-commerce. Further in the pipeline are a manuscript on a textbook on Retail Marketing.
She published a textbook titled "Fundamentals of research" in May 2020
Other publications include a review based paper on, Evolving paradigms of CRM, Comparative styles of leadership and evolving models on the Indian context, Case studies on offering online solutions to management colleges, Dynamics of Learning & development under the pandemic.
