Prof.Prashant Verma

Area Chair– Analytics and Operations Area
Professor Prashant Verma joined FIIB on 12 July 2017 as Area Chair- Analytics. He leads analytics programmes for the institute. He is Subject matter expert with various organizations including EY for business analytics, guiding their analytics processes and workforce training. Prior to this, he was the Area Coordinator for NIIT University’s industry sponsored MBA (Business Analytics) offered jointly with WNS (Holdings) Limited. Along with teaching MBA graduates, he is an awarded trainer for executive training in the area of Business Intelligence, Predictive Business Modeling, Advance Predictive Modelling, R-Programming, MS Excel-based Modeling using VBA and BI using Tableau and Power BI. Histraining has benefited executive cohorts at Jubilant Food Works, Ciena India and leading training institutions like Bridge SoM, which offers analytics programmes jointly with Northwestern University, Chicago, NIIT University and SOIL Gurgoan.

Prof. Prashant is having more than 18 years of experience in Analytics, Research and Decision Science. He holds a MSc in Statistics and a PG Diploma in Computer Software. He has authored various research papers in refereed journals and has a book titled “Labour Cost Administration in Major Industries”. His research interests involve Online ConsumerBehaviour, Optimization and Analytical Modeling. Apart from contributing to research he has guided and delivered various projects in SMEs offering value through optimization.
