International Management Conference (IMC) is a signature academic and scholarly event at FIIB that focuses on to bring forth the ‘Advances in Management through Research, Innovation & Technology’ (AMRIT). Suitably called and organized under the theme of AMRIT, the conference is in its 6th year and has become a milestone in FIIB’s journey of fostering excellence in research and is counted amongst the most awaited academic conferences within the researcher’s and practitioner’s communities.

The mainstreaming of research in ‘management practice’ has radically changed the nature and structure of products and services and produced a new breed of innovation culture, catering to the universal ideal of a ‘sustainable growth’ which is all-pervasive and eminent in nature, quality and impact. Accordingly, IMC lays a lot of emphasis on ‘interdisciplinary research’, a trend which promises new insights and innovations rooted in cross-disciplinary collaboration.

6th International Management Conference – 2020

The 6th edition of the three-day International Management Conference (IMC) 2020 was successfully organized from December 16 to December 18, 2020, by Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi.The conference title theme AMRIT is “a feeling of peace, enlightenment and a state of bliss”. This conference, a flagship event of FIIB aims to achieve scholarly input and intellectual inquiry from a community of highly enthusiastic learners and talented students to enlighten them with the ever-burning torch of knowledge.

The uniqueness of this year’s event was the Research Clinic and Doctoral Consortium (RCDC) organized on 16th December 2020, the 1st day of IMC. RCDC aimed to strengthen the scholarly community through means of uniquely crafted workshops addressing their needs. The following days of the conference consisted of a panel discussion and presentation of research articles by more than 470 national/international participants.

IMC 2020 received 138 papers from more than 90 institutions of national and international reputation. Accepted papers were presented in four technical sessions: general management, marketing, finance, and HRM and strategy.

The event was successfully conducted with diligent administrative understanding and was able to deliver some of the best papers.
