2017

Meraki 2017, hosted by the Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) on January 27-28, was a platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas. The competition brought together 13 finalist teams from prestigious institutions, competing for seed funding and recognition.

Competition Structure:

  1. Stage 1: Registration and submission of business plans.
  2. Stage 2: Evaluation and shortlisting of the top 13 finalists.
  3. Stage 3: Final presentations before a distinguished panel of judges.
  4. Prizes: INR 1,50,000 for the winner, INR 1,00,000 for the runner-up, and INR 50,000 for third place.

    A health drink made from banana plant pseudostems, promoting sustainability and nutrition.

    FlowerCycling® transforms temple waste into lifestyle products, benefiting the environment and supporting marginalized communities.

    A wellness subscription box for women with organic hygiene products tailored for menstruation care.

    An app for tracking expenses, splitting bills, and managing dues among friends. (2nd Place)
  11. Chakra Events (ILEAD, Kolkata)
    A platform for booking event venues, enabling venue owners to expand and market their offerings.
  12. Food Ladder (FIIB & IMS Ghaziabad)
    Aggregating agricultural resources for social and economic sustainability while benefiting the environment.
  13. Think Tank (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru)
    Turning plastic waste into polyester yarn for clothing and other products.
