4th Edition of Signature 'International Management Conference' organised at FIIB



With a view to draw prominent personalities and thought industry leaders to reflect upon the new-age innovations and best practices in research, FIIB in collaboration with CEREN, Burgundy School of Business, France; SolBridge International School of Business, South Korea; 3CLab-DMIS, University of Salerno, Italy; Uniglobe College, Nepal and Sa-Dhan, New Delhi, on December 19 and 20 organised its signature conference 'International Management Conference' with the theme Advances in Management through Research, Innovation & Technology, abbreviated as AMRIT.

The two-day conference primarily aimed at the importance of Research, Innovation and Technology in the field of management to enhance productivity. Calling upon the established researchers, practitioners, policy makers and interested stakeholders, FIIB provided a platform for knowledge sharing and discussions on advances in management theories and practices, Interdisciplinary Research and Technology supported Innovations. The conference also encouraged the students to network with business leaders and industry insiders while showcasing their hard work in the form of research papers and presentations.

"FIIB yet again convenes an insightful 4th International Management Conference to facilitate better understanding and knowledge sharing on the importance of research, innovation and technology to advance the practices of management, amongst students from FIIB and other leading universities. By extending the platform to prominent personalities comprising noted industry experts, established business practitioners and eminent figures from the business fraternity, FIIB reflects upon its commitment to impart serious business education," said Radhika Srivastava, Executive Director, FIIB.

The conference drew a large number of Subject Experts, Scholars, Academicians, Industry Captains and Students from other leading national and international universities, fostering collaboration and valuable associations at an individual and institution level. The discussions during the conference were based on the importance of research to enhance productivity and quality of work and outcome. With inaugural remarks, Dr. Anil Kumar Sinha, Director, FIIB spoke about the importance of research in the context of improvement and deliberating upon the original findings to deliver outstanding quality research. He stressed that in-depth research, close analysis and focused assessment allows the researcher to go deeper into the context of a subject, topic or an issue, resulting in better understanding.

Apart from the in-depth discussions, awards for best research papers submitted were also presented. Some of the best paper awards and certificates were presented by Dr. Amiya Mohapatra to Deep Narayan Pathak from Uniglobe College, Nepal; Amit Kumar Singh and Rohit Kumar Srivastava from Delhi School of Economics and followed by the best research paper award presented to Dr. Heinz Herrmann, Professor, Torrens University, Australia for his outstanding research and knowledge with the highest originality.

Acknowledging the hard work of authors, three books were also released during IMC namely; Advances in Management Research & Innovation, Business Innovation & Sustainability, and Business Management & Technology.
