FIIB applauds and congratulates Prof. Nimit Gupta along with his two mentees Mr. Albin Alexander and Abhishek Jaiswal students of the final year pursuing their PGDM program at FIIB, on the publication of their case study entitled: on "AMARACHI - SILVER ART JEWELS: ROAD AHEAD" published in Case Centre, Reference no. 516-0146-1.

The abstract of the paper says that the case emphasizes on a reputed owner of Amarachi Silver Art Jewels and the dilemma encircling his decision, which thereby aims to adhere towards a constant revenue maximization in silver and imitation jewelry market. With the advent of online retailing and other jewelry selling channels, Learning how to operate in the environment of Omni channel retailing. How to keep the pace while the structure and dynamics of retail is changing especially Silver Jewelry market. Understanding the long term sustainability of the business model of brick and mortar jewelry retail and exploring various options for future growth opportunities. This case is relevant for the students of marketing in general and retail in particular.

Dr. Nimit has a rich experience in teaching, research and consulting in the areas of Marketing and General Management. Acting as an area coordinator of Marketing Club- Brand Rovers at FIIB, Dr. Nimit Gupta is involved in guiding and motivating student coordinators for various marketing initiatives and activities. He also holds the position of Co-coordinator for Corporate Internship Program (CIP) and is instrumental in framing the policies, rules and timelines for CIP for PGDM students.
