Converting CIP to PPO- SANKALP 2 Employability Workshop at FIIB

With a core belief that the timespan between leaving the college and entering into corporate world could be a smooth ride for students, FIIB organized three days long SANKALP workshop (26th to 28 February 2019) to provide bits of guidance during their growing-into-adulthood phase. Keeping in mind the "Campus to Corporate" challenging paradigm shift, FIIB through SANKALP focuses on making students career-ready by conducting various assessment tests, session on resume writing, report writing, and a detailed session on converting CIP (Corporate Internship Programme) to PPO (Pre-Placement Offer).

During this 3 days long SANKALP workshop, FIIB invited ten speakers in the campus who trained the students through hands-on lectures and workshops. The SANKALP 2 at its very first day started with a reality check session on "Successful Transition from College to Career" delivered by Dr. Simi Mishra (Talent Development Professional). Mr. Naresh Vij (Director, Kaveri Consultants) taught Corporate Etiquettes to graduates and make them familiar with the essentials skills of communication and handy tips for the corporate world. He explained to students the importance of enhancing their soft skills and turn them into required employability skills.

The whole concept of the workshop is constructing a bridge that enables students to become better employees and train them to cope up with the corporate world. A total number of six speakers; Mr. Rahul Chaurasia and Mrs. Heena Choudhary, Mr. Anuj Batta, Mr. Ranjan Kumar, Mr. Puneet Arora, Mr. Arun Aggarwal and Mr. Ajay Chabbra talked on the topic of "Prism of Possibilities" covering different sectors including, Marketing, HR, Analytics, Operations & IB, Finance and Entrepreneurship. Along with a deep conversation on the importance of CIP in an MBA's career, students got an opportunity to attend an Expectation Setting session with Mrs. Bhawana Dhawan who is a past CIP Recruiter.

The SANKALP 2 workshop helped students to understand what the corporate expects from them and created a corporate culture at college premise to make them aware of workplace ethics.
