Unleashing Marketing Management Lessons Through Alumni - FIIB Conducted Guest Session For Students

Following the saying - students grasp better when lessons come directly from someone who has been in their shoes earlier, FIIB conducted an interactive Guest Session with 1999-2001 passed out Alumni Mr. Saurav Sharma, Head of Corporates Sales (B2B) in Havells India Ltd. who addressed students about the B2B Marketing Management sector.

In this one and a half-hour-long session, Mr. Saurav talked about his professional journey and shared some insightful lessons with students that will further help them in their career. While taking students through the lane of his professional journey, he also talked about the role government policies play in the B2B and B2C marketing sector. By taking Army Canteen as an example, he made students understand how hard it is for businesses to list their products at CSD or any other canteen.
The students also found his research through blogging appreciative, and they asked many interesting questions from their alumni to which he answered with accurate facts. When one student asked about the role of Artificial Intelligence in B2B Market, he said that AI is one growth-driven potential that charges up almost every sector and B2B is not anyhow untouched by its power. In the present and upcoming future as well, AI will keep on leveraging the B2B and B2C market with its new ideas and innovations.

Overall the interaction between 1999-2001 passed out Alumni and 2019-2021 batch students was quite insightful. The guest session offered students a great opportunity to dive deep into the ocean of the B2B market and unleash the bucket full of opportunities/plans the sector has for future talents.
