The Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) is a part-time programme designed keeping in mind the aspirations of working professionals and those academics who wish to add a doctorate degree to their qualifications by a research programme which will help them achieve excellence in their professional pursuits.
Candidates aiming for EFPM at FIIB must have one of the following academic qualification(s):
A Masters' degree in Business Administration or equivalent in allied discipline (Business Economics, Economics, Tourism Management, and Commerce) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point from an institution/university recognized by AICTE.The candidates who possess any of the above qualifications should have cleared one of the following tests:
JRF/NET by UGC or CSIR: The candidates should have NET/JRF (qualified and valid) in the business management or allied disciplines (business economics, economics, tourism management, hotel management and Commerce) related to the academic degrees discussed in academic qualification.To complete the EFPM Programme successfully, candidates need to earn 50 credits in minimum three years and a maximum of four years. The programme can be extended to one more year with the approval of the Doctoral Committee. It is compulsory for the candidates to earn 2 credits by completing a consultancy project or research publications and 1 credit by research presentation in international conferences from the additional credits as their research contribution.
EFPM candidates bring with them corporate and academic experience which facilitated by the FIIB faculty will help them to explore their potential and enrich themselves in their career paths. The institute offers the EFPM Scholars a chance to strengthen their networks with our corporate partners with the help of the EDP Cell.Candidates will have to submit the thesis followed by an open seminar, which will be conducted in front of all the faculty members and scholars. Submitted thesis will be evaluated by two external experts (one national and one international expert). After getting the evaluation reports satisfactory, the final Viva will be conducted in the presence of the Doctoral Committee, Fellow Research Committee, faculty members and scholars. After completion of the final Viva, notification will be issued of completion leading to the award of the EFPM degree.
