TRACKING
IMPACT

FIIB's UNSDG's Dashboard

Integrating with the Haub School of Business Dashboard, we track and showcase our impact on the UNSDG's. In 2023, FIIB is impacting the SDGs most through its research (82 activities), stimulating dialogs between students, business, policymakers and on civil society organizations (32 activities), and through its organizational practices (15 activities). Our Center for Responsible Management has thus joined the Responsible Research for Business and Management (RRBM) network to further our efforts for producing responsible research. As a further step to cement our commitment to making a meaningful mark, FIIB is now also a member institution of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).

SOCIAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (SIP)

SIP is evident that FIIB has made conscious attempts to introduce sustainability in its PGDM curriculum and is trying to make a positive societal change by involving its students and faculty. The students engage with the Social Sector Organizations (SSO's) to work on projects that are aligned with their real needs for 15 days. The Batch undertakes projects in teams of 8-10 with specific SSO's. Each team is full-time mentored by a faculty member, and the SSO's manager. It is a graded course for the students. Success is not defined as a 100-hour volunteering but primarily defined by the usability of their recommendations in the report and an intellectual outcome. This year onwards an alignment with UNSDG's is the focus of the internship.
