FIIB is a dynamic and energetic campus in both location and spirit. Having fun, learning, and activities “beyond the classroom” is part of student life. Developing a student’s professional and personal skills is equally important at FIIB. Students have access to socio-cultural activities, a student council, learning resource centers, sporting activities, a cafeteria, and a student lounge in addition to academics. Our campus encourages effective communication between students, faculty, alumni and our community. During their academic pursuits, students can take advantage of these activities and resources to maximize their experience.

Student Clubs

FIIB provides students with the skills required to become capable future managers through its student clubs, which are managed by students. Dedicated clubs for marketing, finance, communication, and social assistance help students develop professionally as well as personally. Through student clubs and the activities they host, students master the skills of organizational management, public speaking and presentation as well as team building and establishing lifelong relationships.

Socio-Cultural Events

The campus ambience is highly friendly, giving the impression of being a close-knit community. Cultural, social, entertainment and ceremonial events such as Samavesh (the cultural fest), Ranbhoomi (the sports meet) and Founders Day. Students at FIIB enjoy them as much as business and management challenges, hackathons, seminars, conclaves, and conferences.

Leadership Programme

FIIB offers a number of Student Clubs, which are largely run and managed by students themselves providing them with the skills they require to become capable future managers. This allows them to showcase their ‘learning by doing’ skills, such as coming up with ideas, planning, organising, and managing campus events. Additionally, the institute offers a special B-Involved Program that incentivises and motivates students to engage in all activities on campus and promotes healthy competition among them.

Traditions

Throughout each term, we hold unique events like the “Gong Ceremony” to recognize our RACERS’ achievements and “Passing the Light” to pass the baton to juniors with a responsibility to carry the club forward and hold the flag high. Furthermore, every student undertakes an oath-taking ceremony upon entering and leaving the institute in order to positively impact business and society in the future.

Campus Highlights

FIIB is truly a city school, and our location defines us as an institute of higher learning. While students engage academically and professionally within the campus, they view the National Capital Region of India as an extension of their classroom with the myriad of connections that are available to them. to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning resources, the institute has smart classrooms that allow more interactive engagement between the faculty and students.

in between classes and for social interactions, students have access to a lounge for that ‘rejuvenation’ to consistently take on and overcome the rigors of the academic curriculum.

03. Library

a well resourced knowledge center is accessible by the students to review the engaging interactions of the sessions and foster perspectives by reading extensive informational material available in print and digital formats.

04. Racers Cafe

for a quick bite between sessions to a venue for extensive interactions with fellow students, students access the cafeteria for healthy and tasty treats that offers an effective ambience in an air conditioned environment.

05. Saddle Gym

while focusing on development of management abilities through knowledge building, students have access to a well equipped gym with a trainer for building physical strength to complement facilitation of intellectual prowess.

06. Aarohan

to help incoming students transition into as well as cope with the rigors of a professional course in addition to peer and any other pressures students might feel, the institute through an outsourced expert organization offers a strictly confidential psychological counseling service to help students perform.

07. Breakfast To Go

to enhance the effectiveness of teaching the institute offers nutritious and lite breakfast that ensures students under no circumstances have to attend sessions on an empty stomach.

08. Business Simulations

to enhance managerial and leadership abilities that students will encounter in corporate, students are exposed to similar experiences in a virtual environment through state of the art, interactive, engaging business simulations that provide insights which are discussed by faculty to anchor concepts and perspectives

09. Professional Development

We foster a holistic learning approach to develop professionals who are capable of designing interventions, building, managing and leading organizations for sustainable impact. As part of this endeavor, the college has a dedicated L&D department that incorporates development ideas with management theories, combining in-class sessions with collaborative group work and field experience.

Students associate with clubs to demonstrate their interests and maintain a balance between hobbies and work. Refrain from engaging in misconduct as well from concealing it within the academic
(such as plagiarism and cheating) and non-academic context (such as misrepresentation,
discrimination and harassment)
Be aware that your conduct affects other students and reflects on the Institute, and to
use good judgment and act accordingly
Comply with all FIIB policies (such as anti-ragging, prevention of sexual harassment,
responsible IT use, etc.) and procedures as have been informed to you through this
handbook and during your time at FIIB

Remain Accountable

Take advantage of the wealth of professional and social developmental activities
provided by the Institute for its student community
Work hard and with determination at your studies
Make timely fee payments as per the fee schedule communicated
Cooperate fully with the investigating authority in cases of disciplinary inquiry

Promote Collaboration

Provide constructive feedback on their time at FIIB through the Program Office and
through the various survey forms floated from time to time
Recognize and value positive contributions from others
Be positive ambassadors of FIIB to external audiences on or off-campus

Demonstrate Excellence

Aim to produce and disseminate work of the highest quality
Challenge one another intellectually and to contribute to the advancement of
knowledge
Commit to managing their time to fulfil academic and other commitments and seek help when needed

Behave with Respect

Show responsible stewardship of the Institute environment, facilities and resources;
Refrain from any action (or threat of action) that endangers or threatens to endanger the health, safety, or well-being of any person (including oneself)
Keep appointments and to communicate with faculty, staff and other learners in a
timely and courteous manner
Monitor the behavior of one’s visitors or guests on campus to assure their adherence to
these standards
Dress appropriately that befits your chosen profession of management
Maintain an atmosphere conducive to scholarly pursuits, and preserve the dignity and
seriousness of Institute ceremonies
