Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) has been recognised at Level 5, Pioneering B-School Ranking, in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) 2026 survey. This recognition is a milestone in the institutions’ responsible management philosophy and societal impact. Out of the 87 business schools from 32 countries assessed this year, Level 5 is the highest published distinction in the PIR framework.

This year’s edition was the most comprehensive yet. The PIR 2026 collected 19,789 valid student responses globally, and for the first time, also formally incorporated a Faculty Survey, gathering 1,189 valid faculty responses across participating schools. FIIB participated in both, making its recognition a reflection of not just student experience but also faculty perspective, a dual validation of the culture and rigour that define the institution.
At FIIB, the survey was organised and led by the student body, who mobilised their peers across campus to participate and share honest, reflective feedback. Their ownership of this process is itself a marker of the kind of engaged, accountable community FIIB has built over the years.

- FIIBx and Curriculum: Through FIIBx, FIIB’s educational philosophy is built around career pathways, experiential learning, and AI readiness. Future leader-managers get to engage with real problems and graduate with portfolios of meaningful work. The curriculum ensures that ethics, sustainability, and responsible leadership are not electives but essentials, integrated into how FIIB teaches management at its core.
- Faculty-Led Pedagogy: FIIB’s faculty have continuously pushed pedagogy forward, creating classrooms where students are challenged to think about their role in the world, not just their role in a boardroom. Their commitment to relevance and rigour has been central to how FIIB has raised its standards year on year.
- Community Engagement: Across every RACERs cohort, a culture of community engagement has taken root at FIIB, with students consistently looking outward, taking on societal challenges as part of their education, not apart from it. This sense of responsibility beyond the campus is not incidental. It is by design.
In a year when faculty voices were formally included in the PIR process for the first time, FIIB’s participation in the Faculty Survey reflects its broader institutional culture: transparent, accountable, and always willing to be measured against the highest standards.
FIIB’s Level 5 Pioneering status is based on 19,789 valid student responses and 1,189 valid faculty responses collected as part of the PIR 2026 edition, which assessed 87 business schools across 32 countries. Level 5 Pioneering is not a destination for FIIB. It is a renewed commitment to building an institution where impact is the point, and every stakeholder, student, faculty, and administration, works toward that together.
