Dr. Shallu Batra

Dr. Shallu Batra is a Assistant Professor at the Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB).She holds a doctorate in Finance from the Department of Commerce, Maharshi Dayanand University. She is a NET-JRF recipient of the University Grants Commission. Dr. Batra’s doctoral work primarily focuses on corporate governance and the stock market.Besides this, her work also extends to the fields of corporate finance, sustainability, and capital markets. Her academic work also includes, institutional investors, investors’ behavior, and gender diversity. Her research work has contributed to the institute's academic and professional environment. She has numerous publications in both national and international journals. Some of the prestigious journals include Multinational Business Review, International Journal of Social Economics, Managerial Finance, International Journal of Law and Management, Journal of Modelling in Management, and Global Business and Economics Review. Additionally, she has served as a reviewer for leading publications, including Emerald and Wiley. She has presented several papers at national and international conferences and seminars. She has also been invited as a guest lecturer to deliver a lecture on bibliometric analysis. In her academic role, she teaches a variety of papers at the postgraduate level including Financial Reporting Analysis, Strategic Financial Decision making, and Business Research Methods.
